We are seeking candidates who have demonstrated excellence by the creative and innovative development of new ideas and programs and by the highly effective utilization of well-regarded principles in the human resources area.
The Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year (HRPY) is proud to launch our twenty-second year celebrating the successes of HR professionals in the Tristate area. Over the last two decades over 500 individuals have been nominated and over 100 award recipients have been recognized in the following categories:
- HR Rising Star of Year – an HR professional that has 8 years or less of total working experience post completion of an individual’s undergraduate degree.
- HR Consultant of the Year – an individual who, on a contract basis, personally performs for third-party employer clients the duties traditionally associated with a Human Resources Leader and whose primary business is performing those duties for their clients.
- HR Person of the Year – An individual who has demonstrated excellence either by creative and innovative development of new ideas and programs or by the highly effective utilization of well-regarded principles in the human resources area.
Every year the HRPY program evolves based on participant and committee feedback which creates the special nature of the event and the award. We have a tremendous opportunity in 2022 to continue to recognize the impact and success of the HR function at all levels. New for this year, the nominee process has been enhanced to better align nominee talent and accomplishments to a select number of finalists. As a result, we are happy to welcome all interested applications in all categories. From the initial applications, the judges will then refine the finalists in each category based on the business impact. This means the total number of nominees considered in each category may be fewer than years past. We believe this change continues to evolve the recognition of the very talented HR professionals in the Delaware Valley.
