Meet Our Speakers
Rachael Elstad currently serves as the Executive Human Resources Partner for Urban Outfitters and previously served as the Senior Vice President of People and Culture at La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
She is dedicated to creating supportive and functional workplaces that fuels both high performing businesses and teams to do their best work. Rachael began her career in the hospitality industry, holding positions at SAGE Dining Services and Nordstrom before moving into senior roles working for Chef Jose Andres and later at Nando’s Peri-Peri.
Mylena Sutton is a self-proclaimed leadership fanatic who believes “all leadership is personal, and that we just happen to use it in professional settings sometimes”. She is also the Founder and CEO of two small businesses, and has been in business since 2007.
Mylena’s B2B business is Voltage Vista Consulting. She is a leadership development and human resources consultant for experienced leaders in organizations across all three sectors: private, public sector, and nonprofit. Her work focuses on the three Cs: compliance, conflict, and culture (she’s thinking about adding a fourth C, change). Her B2C business, Pink Boxes Club, provides personal growth coaching for women who need support, accountability, and greater capacity to design the lives they want to live. While each of her businesses serves a different customer, her work boils down to alignment. She helps clients recognize the contradictions between their spoken and lived values while also pushing them to close the gaps between their goals and habits, whether in their personal lives or with their teams.
Sutton holds degrees from the University of Georgia and University of Kansas, respectively and various certifications, including SHRM’s SPHR credentials. Mylena’s personal interests include serving as a docent at the Barnes Foundation, working on her podcast, The Leadership Drives, and working on her goal to hike a trail in every state.
Dr. Kayla LeLeux-LaBarge, Psy.D. is a clinical-organizational psychologist and senior consultant at Equilibria Leadership Consulting. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology(Psy.D.) from Georgia Southern University and applies her unique interdisciplinary skills to business and technology settings.
She has also been involved in the creation and is the Director of Product and Research for behavioral tech start-up, HeyKiddo and has played a key role in helping to develop the business model, managing project operations, product development, securing funding, and coordinating research to achieve data-driven outcomes. Dr. LaBarge is a highly skilled executive coach. Her background as a cognitive-behavioral psychologist and expertise in human dynamics allows her to quickly initiate deep-rooted behavioral changes within individuals and organizations. Kayla has been successful working with individuals and teams at all professional levels and across industry in helping to bolster leadership skills, ability to effectively manage, and positive workplace culture. She also has a strong research and assessment background, with peer-reviewed articles and publications in the fields of resilience, positive psychology, clinical outcomes, and stress-related challenges.
Kayla is also a charismatic speaker and group facilitator. She has delivered seminars on topics including professional authenticity, creating employee-centered environments that thrive, ways to bring humanity into data-driven industries, managing workplace stress, and building core leadership skills. She has a strong program development background and has been praised by executives for her ability to intuitively identify areas of development and adapt creative individualized solutions and strategies to fit the needs of the team and organization.

Holly DePalma
Managing Director, MEA Predictive Index, Certified Premier Partner
Holly DePalma is the Managing Director of MEA’s Predictive Index practice. Holly works with PI clients to solve complex business problems through the data and insights obtained from the Predictive Index platform and through her training and consulting services. Holly brings with her over 20 years of human resources experience in generalist and leadership roles. She has worked with start-ups, developing companies to large-scale organizations in a variety of industries including education, health care, and technology. The diversification of Holly’s experiences affords her a unique perspective from which MEA Predictive Index clients can benefit. Holly graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Management (Go Black Bears!). She also holds a Master’s degree from Temple University (Hoot Hoot) in Public Policy. Mentoring young people and providing career guidance to individuals starting their careers or changing paths are a few of Holly’s passions.
