Philadelphia SHRM Webinar
Topic: Understanding and Using Workforce Planning (WFP)
Description: A critical aspect of any organization’s business strategy is its human capital workforce planning. Workforce planning must become a priority to ensure the business has the necessary and sufficient human capital resources required to sustain short and long term strategic objectives. Properly conceived workforce planning starts at the highest levels of the organization and is an integral component of its strategic business plan.
This workforce planning overview will provide insights into the strategic importance of workforce planning and how to incorporate and align workforce planning as part of an organization’s current and future workforce human capital strategy.
We’ll review how to uncover the key gaps in the workforce relative to the business’ strategy and develop human capital solutions to shrink these gaps. We’ll also cover how to “sell” the concepts of workforce planning and advocate for strategic investments in your organization’s talent.
